Women account for 60% of REALTORS® but represent only a fraction of executive and brokerage positions. WomanUP!® exists to help women move up and find their voice. The California Association of REALTORS® is committed to supporting and empowering REALTORS® through its WomanUP!® initiative, established in 2017. Research shows that women make up the majority of REALTORS® and that real estate can be a rewarding and flexible career path, particularly in career development, recruitment, and job satisfaction. While there’s still room for growth, especially in achieving greater representation in brokerage leadership, WomanUP!® provides professional development, a supportive community, and a data-driven approach to helping women find their voice in real estate. Although WomanUP!® was sparked in California to inspire women to step into brokerage leadership in the state, C.A.R. is now taking it across the nation!
